Brian and I dream of the day when the Myrtle House is to the point where it is freshly dry-walled. All of the systems are in place, the structure is sound, and we get to move onto the fun part: decorating. Last night I sat down with my paint deck and favorite paint swatches (I know, I lead such an exciting life) and narrowed down my selections for the Myrtle House. I know we are very far away from painting, but it is nice to day dream a little bit. I am sorry I have been on such a painting craze these days! Last one for a while, I promise. :)
Valspar Winter in Paris: We used this in the bedroom in the Sea Spray Condo and it is lovely. I plan on using this in the living room, master bedroom, and master bath.
Valspar Smoke Infusion: This is one shade darker than Winter in Paris. It goes so well with our existing rug, so this will be in the dining room and the guest bathroom.
Sherwin Williams Agreeable Gray: After our greige recap yesterday, I still picked this one out from a stack of 10 different warm grays as my favorite. I knew it was a winner when Brian picked it from the same 10 options without me hinting towards a favorite. This will be in the kitchen and guest bedroom and potentially the office.
Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace: I love white trim, but am not crazy of whites that are too stark or too yellow. This paint color was raved as one that goes great with marble, so I was sold. This will be used on trim and doors throughout the house.
Benjamin Moore Dragon's Breath: This color has depth - warm but sophisticated. Almost black with just the right amount of brown. I plan on using this on the vanities in the bathroom as well as on accent pieces in the kitchen (island, shelving).
